    In partnership with the Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities, SHRM Portage County invites you to join OOD's June Meeting titled:

    "Safety & Emergency Management"

    ABOUT THE EVENT:  This is part of our SHRM Portqage County 2025 Diversity and Inclusion Learning Series. We are partnering with the Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities to provide business owners and HR professionals an understanding of the ways we can make our businesses more inclusive.  

    For this event, participants can learn and earn 1 SHRM PDC and/or 1 HRCI  Credit.

    ABOUT THE PRESENTATION: 

    ABOUT THE SPEAKERS: This webinar will discuss strategies for including accessibility and accommodations in safety and emergency plans to ensure that employees, visitors, and guests have what they need to navigate these situations effectively.

    Brianna Potter, OTR/L, ADAC

    Brianna is OOD's Accessible Ohio Specialist for Northeast Ohio. In this role, Brianna supports Ohio’s businesses, communities, venues, and attractions to be accessible and inclusive through individualized consultations, education, and resources. Brianna joined OOD in August 2023. In addition to being a registered and licensed OT, Brianna has a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree in health science with a minor in psychology.

    Brynne Olsen

    Brynne is the Career Development Specialist for Northeast Ohio with the Division of Employer and Innovation Services at OOD. In this role, Brynne supports Ohio’s businesses in their efforts to hire college students with disabilities for internship opportunities. Brynne joined OOD in April 2022 and attended the University of Akron.
